About Uyuni Salt Flats Trips

This site lines up the jeep tours a traveller can book onto the Salar de Uyuni: one-day loops from Uyuni town, sunset and stargazing runs, the three-day route through the southwest lagoons, crossings to and from San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, and packages from La Paz. Why This Site Exists

An Uyuni listing prices the jeep, the driver and the meals. It rarely prices the day. The reserve entrance for the lagoons, the island fee on the salar, the sleeping bag in the cold months and the bus leg into Chile are often paid in cash on the way, and the headline figure leaves them out.

The second gap is the route. Two tours with the same name can end in different countries, and a three-day trip can finish back in Uyuni or at the Hito Cajón border. Putting the full day price and the real route side by side is what this site is for.

Where the Figures Come From

Park and island fees, border rules, entry requirements and train and flight details come from the authority or company that sets them, named and linked on each page. Weather figures come from a ten-year climate archive for Uyuni town. Tour prices, inclusions, pickup points, cancellation terms and review counts come from each operator's listing on the platform that sells it, and for Viator from the platform's partner data, which also shows the mandatory extras added at checkout.

When two sources give different numbers, the page prints both and says which one to confirm.

What This Site Does Not Do

No one here claims to have ridden these jeeps. There is no invented guide persona and no staff photograph. One and two star reviews are not showcased. When a listing has a recurring problem, such as a crowded refuge or a driver who speaks only Spanish, it appears in the text with the practical fix next to it.

The mirror effect is not promised either. It needs a thin layer of water on the salt, which comes with the rain, and no operator can book it for you.
